Research data set of 132 bepress Digital Commons sites that are listed by bepress as "research universities". Repository size, download activity, and thesis and dissertation data collected from public readership maps on each repository site on 11/27/2019. Data set is supplemented with notations for Carnegie Classification, journal publishing, thesis/dissertation information, and comparison to 2017 data (10.17605/OSF.IO/2KPG6)
The Zoo Task: A Novel Metacognitive Problem-Solving Task Developed with a Sample of African American Children from Schools in High Poverty Communities
Jwalin Patel, Amanda Aldercotte, Maria Tsapali, Zewelanji Serpell, Teresa Parr & Michelle Ellefson
Metacognition is important for monitoring and regulating cognitive processes, decision-making, problem-solving and learning. Despite widespread interest in metacognition, measuring metacognition in children poses a significant challenge. Some qualitative and observational metrics exist, but are restricted by scalability, range of metacognitive components measured, and use of different metrics compared with tasks for adults. We developed a novel scalable, paper-based task that measures all components of metacognition that is not conflated by other variables like verbal ability...

The metabolic changes that accompany changes in Cardiopulmonary testing (CPET) and heart failure biomarkers (HFbio) are not well known. We undertook metabolomic and lipidomic phenotyping of a cohort of heart failure (HF) patients and utilized Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA) to identify associations to CPET and HFBio test performance (peak oxygen consumption (Peak VO2), oxygen uptake efficiency slope (OUES), exercise duration, and minute ventilation-carbon dioxide production slope (VE/VCO2 slope), as well as the established HF biomarkers...
