More recently, a sub-type of VMS associated...
Det tør!: Frozen-Ground Cartoons; Et international samarbejde mellem kunstnere og permafrostforskere

This project started in October 2015 with a crazy idea : prepare and submit a funding application for an international, multidisciplinary and non-traditional scientific outreach project… within the next 48 hours. Well, it worked out. A group of highly motivated young researchers from Canada and Europe united to combine arts and science and produce a series of outreach comic strips about permafrost (frozen ground). The aim of the project is to present and explain scientific...
Cultural communication as political communication
Nete Nørgaard Kristensen & Anna RoosvallMouthings in Swedish Sign Language: An exploratory study
Johanna Mesch, Krister Schönström & Sebastian Embacher
This paper deals with the non-manual mouth actions of
Swedish Sign Language, Svenskt teckenspråk (STS). Based on data
from the Swedish Sign Language Corpus and the Swedish Sign Language
as L2 Corpus, we compare the use of mouthings in deaf L1 as
well as hearing L2 signers. The use, distribution and frequency of
mouthings are explored and described quantitatively and qualitatively.
The results reveal some similarities as well as differences in
the use of mouthings...
Differences in decompression of the high-pressure Cycladic Blueschist Unit (Naxos Island, Greece): what can inclusions tell us?

Determining the tectonic evolution and thermal structure of a tectonic unit that experiences a subduction-related pressure temperature (P-T) loop is challenging. Within a single unit, P-T conditions can vary from top to bottom which can be only revealed by detailed petrological work. We present micropetrological data of the middle section of the Cycladic Blueschist Unit (CBU) in Naxos, Greece, which indicate a different P-T loop than the top of the section. In the middle section,...
