Identifying what is ‘ethically acceptable’, requires a detailed assessment of the environmental and social impacts from a proposed development, considered in the context of project alternatives and the broader need to supply energy and minerals. Devloping an ethical matrix will help project stakeholders make informed decisions and choices in this context.
